A Word from the President

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Los Angeles Bible Training School! God in His marvelous grace has provided this school to educate its students in the Bible. LABTS exists to bring glory and honor to God by coming alongside of local churches to train the people of God in the word of God to do the work of God.

What a privilege it is for our staff to serve you by teaching you God's word and modeling it for you. Each instructor is prepared to guide you in your studies. Yet, it is important that you be a diligent student, if you are to benefit fully from your time here. Perhaps the example of the Old Testament figure Ezra can be an example to you. In Ezra 7:10 its says, "For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord, and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel." Like Ezra of old, set your heart to study God's word, to practice it, and also to teach it to others. If you make this commitment, you will experience the blessings of God during your time with us.

We trust that your time at LABTS will be unforgettable. It is our desire that you will increase in your knowledge of God, improve in your walk with God, and enjoy the fellowship with God's people. May our God richly bless every minute of your time both in the classroom and in chapel.
